Random Fall 2013 crash catchup

We had LOTS of fun when we got back from Chicago last fall. As usual I tried to cram as much end of the summer activities that we miss out on into august and September; we went camping, went to the hot springs, hit up the water park we found out I was Pregnant with baby #3, kaleb started a kinder prep 5 days a week program, I finally got my 3 row vehicle ( especially with baby #3 on the way) Mike and I went to Mexico, We went in with Mikes brother on buying  a family cabin up in Island Park which made mike decide he needed a mini truck. Here are the highlights via pictures

Squeezing as much end of the summer water play in that we can with Rexburgs splash park, Rigby Lake and Lava Hot Springs.

Our new Ride for our soon to be family of 5

Decorating fall cookies at Grandpa and Grandma Walkers House

We found out we were expecting baby #3 after we got home from Chicago! It was not a planned pregnancy. We had talked about having a third and decided we did want one but wanted to wait a few more months to start trying. When we were driving back home I started suspecting I might be and after we got home I decided to take a test after a couple weeks and surprise I was! This was me at almost 15 weeks and Jaxsons first ultrasound picture at 8 weeks!

Festive food for the month of October ( I try) They Also had "Mummy Dogs" (hot dogs wrapped) and "brains" Spaghetti stuffed into a pepper carved to look like a pumpkin face

We celebrated Kami turning 30! Afton and Kaleb loved rolling each other around in this tire! It was fun to get to see all my siblings!

Love our family walks together! One of my favorite things to do with Mike and the kids!
We got Kaleb in Swim lessons for the first time this Fall. I Feel like I waited way to long with him and Hope to get  Keaton in as soon as we get back to Idaho when he is almost 3 and hopefully do some mommy and me ones with Jaxson! Kaleb Loves loves loves to swim and he does really good but lets his fear get the best of him . He's scared of where he knows he can't touch but we tested his ability and he could swim the whole length of that pool but the second he knows he can touch he does and he really fought us on getting him to do anything on the deeper end.

Beautiful Idaho sunsets!

 Just my smiley little Keaters!

We took the boys to bear world for the first time! They loved it! Keaters was obsessed with all the animals and Kaleb LOVED the rides at the end!

Camping at Rigby Lake with Cousins!

Cousin Sleepover
Invited Jen and her kids over for a cousin Sleepover. Her husband (My Brother) is Military and done several deployments and was currently gone for a training of some sort- and Mike was gone as well for Work so we decided to get together and have some fun -- We pitched a tent in our unfinished basement and made a fun camp out area down there for the kids- We Watched Halloween movies, ate pizza and raw cookie dough - then cooked cookies :) and we even caught the kids telling ghost stories via flashlight in the basement after we had tucked them in for the night! I always have a blast with Jen and love having her for a sister-in-law! Another thing Jen and I did plenty of that fall was Bike rides on the dry farms or around town with the kids in the morning while the older ones were at school. Lots of fun!

The Cabin
( Story as Ive been told by Mike) Mike and his brother helped his Grandfather (from his moms side) build this cabin in Island Park when they were very little. Sometime after he passed Mikes Grammy decided to sell it to their good friends. Well several years down the road the woman that bought it husband passed away and eventually she decided she wanted to move Back to be closer to family so she put the cabin on the market. Mike and His brother jumped at the chance to buy it and have it in the family again. It is so fun to go up there and hear stories from mike about his childhood and see a tree house still semi in tact that Matt and Mike used to play in. Down to the tiniest of details such as the wood carved mountain ranges inside that his grandpa did himself -I loved it! It comes with several acres but also has several more acres behind it that is considered untouchable land that will never be built on or developed on. It is gorgeous!
