A camping we will go... Hee Ho a camping we will go! ;)

One thing I have really missed doing during the summers home- is camping! Traveling to a new place every summer for 6 months can make it hard to pack and bring all our camping gear. I grew up loving camping so every summer I have really wanted to take my boys. Well my really good friend Naomi found a Yogi Bear campground where you can rent a cabin for a weekend. Her family and ours went in on 1 cabin for 2 nights and 3 days. It was SO much fun! Even though it wasn't your traditional pitch a tent up in the mountains camping like I grew up with we all had a blast and the boys loved it!

To sum it up
Nature walks~exploring with the kids~campfire food~late nights hanging out by the campfire~ Denise the menis style flaming marshmallow throwing contest (After kids were in bed of course ;) ) ~ Glow stick dodge ball... With target not being able to move ~ Haunted forest~ Singing hay rides~ Lots of laughs~so much more~ Such good memories.

New tradition! Maple sausage cooked on the fire wrapped in a Chocolate Chip Waffle also cooked on the fire. SO YUMMY. Can never go camping again without this statement breakfast!
